Welcome to our Home-learning section which contains information about what activities children may complete during school closures.
Find the year group which your child is currently in and within that area we will provide that week’s Maths, English, Science and Topic activities.
Make sure that you read the weekly overview provided by the class teacher which will offer further guidance on the week’s activities.
Class teachers will be following the usual long-term plan which is in place for the Summer term.
Worksheets and activities will be ready for each Monday morning at the start of a new week for as long as home-schooling continues.
Some activities will be accessible through Purple Mash and can be completed online, whereas others will be ‘print off and write on’ activities to complete through writing, drawing etc. or a practical activity to support a learning goal. If you do not have a printer, simply use the screen as a text–book and write your answers down on a separate piece of paper. Work completed will not be collected by class teachers so just do the best you can in this unusual situation.
We hope that these activities will enable children to continue their learning as much as is possible during this extended time at home. Please do not panic about getting all the work set completed – teachers have tried to prepare for all needs. Complete what you can – everyone is dealing with different circumstances.
If you have any questions or cannot find a resource or just need advice, do not hesitate to contact staff at school via email on : email@example.com A member of staff will get back to you as soon as they can.
Take care, stay safe and have fun!
